1. Digital Millennium Copyright Act Compliance
HostDWorld respects intellectual property rights and complies with the DMCA, Title 17 U.S. Code Section 512, and applicable international copyright treaties.
2. Reporting Claims of Copyright Infringement
A valid Takedown Notice must include: a signature; identification of the copyrighted work; identification and location of the infringing material; your contact information; a good-faith statement; and a statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury.
3. Takedown Procedure
Upon a valid notice, HostDWorld will promptly remove or disable access to the material, notify the alleged infringer, and provide a copy of the notice with counter-notification instructions.
4. Counter-Notification Procedure
A valid Counter-Notice must include your signature; identification of the removed material and its former location; a good-faith statement; and your contact information with consent to jurisdiction.
5. Restoration of Removed Content
Upon a valid Counter-Notice, we notify the original complainant and restore the material within 10-14 business days unless a court action is filed.
6. Repeat Infringer Policy
Users subject to two or more valid, unopposed Takedown Notices are considered repeat infringers and may be terminated.
7. Misrepresentations
Knowingly misrepresenting infringement claims may result in liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.
